Chief Operating Officer, VetCor Services
On 4 January 2014, Scott Walden assumed duties as the Chief Operating Officer for VetCor, LLC; a veteran manned and managed insurance services company specializing in mitigation of water loss damage. In his appointed role, he oversees the training and day to day operational activities of the teams performing water mitigation duties as well as contributing to the company’s business development.
From October 2006 to December 2013, Scott Walden served as the Director of Training and Customer Support for M.I.C. Industries, Inc. In this role he developed and managed the company’s training program designed to provide high level instruction in the operation and maintenance of the company’s machinery and software to domestic and international customers. In addition, he was responsible for oversight of all aspects of the company’s customer support operation.
Scott Walden served in the United States Army from October 1983 until his retirement as a Sergeant Major in November 2006. He served throughout the United States and overseas in every leadership position from Team Leader to Brigade Operations Sergeant Major. Some of those assignments include: Heavy Construction Equipment Operator, Team Leader, Squad Leader, and Construction Foreman in the 618th Engineer Company, 307th En Bn, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Construction Foremen in B Co, 536th En Bn, Panama; Construction Foreman and Platoon Sergeant, 37th En Bn, 20th Engineer Brigade, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Senior Enlisted Advisor at Regional Training Detachment, 5th US Army, Readiness Group Denver; First Sergeant, 618th Engineer Company, 307th En Bn, 82nd Abn Div, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Senior Engineer Technician for Roads and Grounds, SHAPE HQs, Belgium; Operations Sergeant Major, 18th En Bde, Heidelberg, Germany.
Scott Walden has a well-rounded civilian and military education background to include Heavy Construction Equipment Operator Training Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Primary Leadership Development Course, Jumpmaster School, Recondo School, Basic Non-commissioned Officer Course, Air Load Planner School, Advanced Non-commissioned Officer Course, Sapper Leader Course, First Sergeant Course. He is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 54) and the Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Black Hills State University (cum laude).
